Alumni of Color Reception

Head of School Patrick McHonett invites you to the fourth annual Alumni of Color Reception. Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres with remarks by Patrick and Guest Speaker Miki Toliver King.

Miki Toliver King is the parent of a 2024 alum and a current junior. As a member of the Board of Trustees, Miki serves on the Audit Committee and Institutional Equity & Inclusion Committee. She is the Managing Director, News Partnerships at Google. Miki King will share her perspective on building meaningful connections at Flint Hill and beyond — with a focus on mentorship as a practice, not just an idea. She’ll talk through how to initiate an ask to someone who might mentor you, and how to build and sustain those mentoring relationships over time — with real examples of how connections can grow from first conversation to lasting guidance.
